VONETS VAP11S-5G has a wide range of applications. It can be used for wired or wireless devices that need to be connected to the Internet.

Function

Industrial 5GHz WiFi Bridge/Wireless Repeater/Mini Router; can achieve WiFi to Wired or Wired to WiFi function.
Wireless bandwidth : 5G 900Mbps (theoretical value). 802.11AC/A/N transmission protocol;
WiFi hotspot memory up to 100 hotspots;
Support connecting more than 20 WiFi terminals at the same time;
Supports IP layer transparent transmission and MAC layer transparent transmission.

WiFi Bridge Mode

Bridge mode can convert WiFi to RJ45 (Ethernet) network or RJ45 to WiFi. Use the VAP11S-5G network cable to plug it into the computer’s network port and then connect the computer to the Internet. The bridge function can realize the connection of wired devices with WiFi, which largely solves the problems of difficult wiring of wired devices.

WiFi Router Mode

1. Wireless WiFi AP, plug and play, just plug the VAP11S-5G network cable into the router’s optical cat interface/LAN port, and other wireless devices can connect to the VAP11S-5G ‘s WiFi to access the Internet.

2. Traditional router that can be used across network segments (the default is wireless AP mode, which requires manual switching)

WiFi Repeater Mode

Repeater mode can expand the existing network, at the edge of the original WiFi hotspot signal coverage, it can receive the weak WiFi signal and then boost it to the normal safe strength. After optimization and error correction processing, after optimization and error correction processing, in the signal coverage distance is doubled if it is safe.

Tips:

1. After configuration, if this device doesn’t work with your devices or your application is AC managed AP, GoPro camera, Cisco AP, surveillance system, please change the setting of “Transmission mode” to “MAC layer transparent”;

2. If you want to use Huawei or iPhone as the source hotspot for WiFi bridge, please select “SSID and password match” in the “Advanced Setting” under the upper level hotspot password during configuration.

3. If the device disconnects frequently or other problems during use, you can upgrade the software online and may be able to solve the problem!
